Theory

Play the  Interval Ear Training: game to practice hearing the difference between half steps and whole steps. Select m2 (minor 2nd/half step) and M2 (Major 2nd/whole step).

Watch the Thinking Theory Eighth Note Triplets, video to learn about 8th-note triplets.

Improvisation

Watch the CF Bottom Line Blues Duet and Solo sample improvisation and listen for the swing (long-short) rhythms. Then create your own Blues Improv melodies by playing black keys + A natural.

Add some "raspberry" triplets if you like.
